Dan Reid was a self-taught Western Canadian artist who spent all of his life on the prairies. Dan was able to realistically capture the essence of life on the prairies with his deft stroke with oil paints. His collection of works include prairie harvests, grain elevators, farmyards, trains, and antique and classic cars.
Dan was a gregarious man who traveled to art, car, and train shows across Alberta and Saskatchewan. He enjoyed meeting with people listening and telling stories.
Sadly, Dan passed away last year but his legacy will live on through his extensive collection of artwork which capture his love of the prairies and classic cards.
